It’s not about luxury, but about experiencing authentic mountain hut life: spending the evening together, getting up early in the morning and starting your next day of hiking right outside the door.

Perfect for hiking tours
The Fahrlechhütte is not only a beautiful destination for a day hike, but also an ideal stopover for longer tours through the Schladminger Tauern. From here, hiking trails continue towards Neualm, Keinprechthütte and the Giglach Lakes, among other destinations.
If you stay overnight with us, you can continue your hike directly from the hut the next morning – without having to descend back into the valley first.
